Digital Storytelling has always come naturally to me, from my current job publishing the informational pages for a Fortune 500 company to creating my sorority’s first chapter website in college. In the ten years between, I’ve developed and maintained nonprofit event pages and small business websites.
These days, I want to help you, your business or your cause expand your online presence. Maybe you have a website but you don’t have the time or energy to focus on it. Maybe you have a tiny seed of an idea for a new project, and you need some help developing that digital foundation.
Learn a bit more about my experiences below, and let’s talk about how I can join your team. I’d love to build you a website to communicate your vision and passion to the world.
Delta Air Lines
In my four years of the Digital team at Delta, I have grown and evolved professional with a remarkable group of peers and leaders. I started as a contract Administrative Assistant and spent eight months managing executive calendars, team events and learning the Commercial side of the airline. I moved into a Design and UX contractor role, producing visual content and supporting team initiaves while keeping our customers top of mind with each website design decision.
In March 2020, I accepted a full-time employee role as a Senior Analyst with Content Operations team, a fast-paced, high-volume team within Digital. By the time I began in the role, Delta was on a hiring freeze and we were shutting down the airline in the midst of COVID-19. Digital was one of the only groups where the work increased, as customers were looking for answers on safety, changing and canceling their flights. I brought design knowledge, compassion for our customers and loyalty to Delta to my work (at home) every day. In the midst, I experienced some of the most impactful moments of my career. During the past year and a half on this team, I’ve become a Project Manager, leading the development and execution of a majority of informational pages on delta.com.
At the Art Center
When I was hired as the Marketing & PR Coordinator at the Spruill Center for the Arts in February 2014, I’d been working at Cobb Travel & Tourism, supporting Communications efforts. Over the three years at Spruill, I helped develop a social media presence and a website redesign that grew class registrations, event attendance and organizational awareness. I could walk down the hallway of the Education Center and find students soldering precious metals into jewelry, or drawing a still life in pastels, while kiln firings ran 12 hours a day in the buildings out back. Every day was inspiring, and I loved getting to share those moments digitally with our community.
My coworkers at Delta inspire me every day, and I like to think I do the same for them.
